2026-2027 BUNKER DANCE CENTER, INC. FEES, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES



REGISTRATION FEES: Registration Fees are owed annually for all students new and returning. Registration Fees are collected on June 1st, 2026, OR upon a student’s enrollment in the current season. Registration Fees renew every year for all students. REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

TUITION FEES: Tuition is non-refundable regardless of missed classes due to vacation, illness, school holidays, etc. Tuition is due the 1st of each month. Tuition is averaged across the entire ten month regular dance season running August - May. TUITION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

*IMPORTANT: Tuition does not increase in price for months with five weeks, nor does tuition decrease in price for holiday shortened months. Rather than issue fluctuating monthly tuition charges, tuition prices are averaged across the entire dance year. One monthly price. One monthly payment.

*IMPORTANT: Tuition for Summer Sessions is priced across the full six weeks of summer classes running June-July.

*IMPORTANT: Upon enrollment, you must provide a credit card, debit card, or checking account number to be placed on file in Bunker Dance Center, Inc.’s autopay tuition system. There is a 3% surcharge added to all VISA, Mastercard, and Discover transactions. Bunker Dance Center, Inc. does not accept American Express for payment. Tuition may be paid via check or cash before the first of every month if you do not wish to utilize the autopay system. Nevertheless, an electronic payment method must still be placed on file with Bunker Dance Center, Inc. to ensure tuition is paid in full.

*IMPORTANT:  No make-up classes will be available or are owed to students under any circumstance.

COSTUME FEES: Costume fees are due on October 15, 2026. If paid after the deadline, a late fee will be added to each costume to cover individual processing and ordering costs. Costume fees do not apply to Summer Session. COSTUME FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

RECITAL FEES: Recital Fees are due January 15, 2027. Recital Fees are charged per family, and based on the amount of recital numbers (eg, “stage time”) your children receive. Recital Fees combine several different costs associated with the production of a professional dance concert regardless of venue. Recital Fees do NOT include tickets. Ticket prices vary according to venue. Recital Fees do not apply to Summer Session. RECITAL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

ENROLLMENT CANCELLATION: In the event of a dropped class, please contact the front desk to receive your drop form. You will continue to be charged until your drop form is submitted. All fees are nonrefundable.

SEASONAL CADENCE

Bunker Dance Center, Inc. follows a traditional ten month school year schedule, followed by a short two month summer program.

Our primary dance season runs for ten months from August - May. This season concludes with a series of recitals at the Smith Center Reynolds Hall Theater. The current season is 2026-2027 Dance Season, which begins on August 10th, 2026.

Summer Session runs from June - July, features no end of season performances, and is priced for six weeks of classes total. We also have many summer camps and clinics running at this time, as well (billed separately). The current summer season is 2026 Summer Session, which begins on June 8th, 2026.


ROLLOVER REGISTRATION

At the conclusion of each ten month dance season, all current students are automatically enrolled in the next upcoming ten month dance season.

During the rollover process, administrative, front desk, and teaching staff will determine the most optimal class for each student. If you need to change your class due to scheduling conflicts, or drop your enrollment altogether, please contact the front desk after annual recitals are completed.

Annual Registration Fees always run on June 1st, OR upon first enrollment in the current season.

Rollover Registration does NOT apply to summer seasons.


Drop-Off / Pick-Up / Parking Procedures

DROP-OFF:

2 years-Kindergarten: Walk in dancer and remain in building for duration of class.

1st-3rd Grade: Walk in dancer and remain until class begins.

4th-12th Grade: Walk in dancer OR drop off at curb of studio with the understanding that dancers are not monitored outside of scheduled class time. 

PICK-UP:

2 years-Kindergarten: You must remain in the building with your dancer for the duration of your dancer's class.

1st-3rd Grade: You must pick up your dancer on time from inside of the studio. We do recommend if you leave the studio to be back 10 minutes prior to class release. Do not pull up and have your dancer meet you in the parking lot. NOTE: your dancer is unsupervised after class release.

4th-12th Grade: You must pick up your dancer on time. If you don’t want to come in, your dancer may come out to you with the understanding that we are not monitoring them in the parking lot. We recommend you work out a system with your dancer ahead of time and dancer should remain inside the building while waiting for you. NOTE: your dancer is unsupervised after class release. 


PARKING LOT ETIQUETTE

Proceed with caution when driving as there are many dancers entering and exiting the studio.

  • Drive slow when entering and exiting the parking lot
  • Be aware of dancers entering and exiting the building as well as walking across the parking lot
  • Be patient and courteous
  • Do not park in the handicap spots unless you have a handicap sticker
  • Do not park on the red curb directly in front of the studio
  • Please park in a designated parking spot

Thank you for your good example and keeping our dancers safe. 


Studio Rules


  • No food or drink allowed in the studios except for water. (Food and drink are allowed in the viewing corridors only.)
  • No Gum!
  • No cell phones allowed in studios. No phone calls or texting during class time.
  •  No parents or siblings are allowed within the actual dance studios. Please do not enter the studio to talk to your child's teacher. Wait for them to exit the studio or leave a message at the front desk. Please be courteous of the next class.
  • Please be courteous to others in the viewing corridors by taking unruly and/or tired siblings outside for a walk or ride in the car if they aren't able to wait for the entire hour. Please be courteous to all trying to watch classes at the viewing windows -- take turns!
  • Please send your child to dance prepared to learn, dressed according to code with hair pulled back and dance shoes in dance bag. Please label all shoes and bags with name!
